A recent PwC report asserts that because of an alarming increase in cyber attacks, businesses should do more to protect their information. The PwC proposes “a three-pronged approach that gives the internal audit department a crucial role in providing assurance about the controls and policies governing the company’s efforts to safeguard the privacy of its data.”
